Ruth Bader Ginsburg

September 19, 2020

I had an inspirational day that day. Lately I've been giving the creative side of me a little more opportunity to come out and express myself. I'm still looking for my place, looking for my statement in the creative world, working a lot on technique until I feel really comfortable with it.

Today I was exposed to the work and inspiring words of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the American Supreme Court Justice who passed away yesterday, and it made me realize that leadership, especially in these troubled times, is something we all must sharpen our skills on as a society. Leadership comes in all kinds of forms, in all kinds of characters. Pioneers, and especially pioneer women, who succeed in a very masculine world and leading people from all over the world, inspire me. Our world needs more such women, for whom the principle of equality, freedom of expression and speech, good manners, the difference between light and darkness is crystal clear to them.
